Pod Save Africa at MASOCON 2019

On August 30th, Pod Save Africa attended the annual MASOCON (Mid Western African Student Organization Conference) at IUPUI (Indiana University -Purdue University) in Indianapolis, Indiana.

During the conference, Pod Save Africa moderated an interview with three African women paving way in their fields and or starting entrepreneurial journeys at a young age; Sarah Bekele, an Anchor/Producer at NBC Nebraska News 2, Sali Kamara, a Self-taught International Freelance Makeup Artist, and Isha Nabay, Hairstylist and Owner of HairbyNuby LLC.

We spoke to them about their journeys embracing the non-traditional professional roles expected of them, what it means to identify your passion, some of their challenges amongst other things in a live interview that will be released on the podcast in the near future.
